Chapter’s introductory statement:
UNLV STS is an organization dedicated to the promotion of the space tourism industry throughout the UNLV student body, and to the introduction of many new industries to realistic space tourism. These include the travel and tourism industry, the financial community, the cruise ship and resort industry, and the entertainment industries. STS believes that space tourism is the most logical endeavor for private enterprise to pursue towards the goal of expanding humankind into space.
Latest information/activity: As the members of UNLV STS, we have just begun to introduce ourselves to the student body as a student run organization. Our first event will be a screening of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey on school grounds. We are currently working with other student organizations to raise awareness of who we are and how they can take part.
